The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index program (CELPIP) is a computer driven general English language proficiency test which enables the candidates appearing for it to demonstrate their English language ability.
CELPIP offers two types of tests to choose from:
- CELPIP General Test: A 3 hours test which includes Listening, Speaking reading Writing sections used for permanent residency and professional designations. This Test is IRCC Approved for PR applications.
- CELPIP General LS Test: This test is specifically designed for evaluating the applicants for citizenship and professional designation on the basis of Speaking and Listening skills. It is a 1 hour test and is also approved by IRCC for Canadian Citizenship Applications.
The CELPIP is accepted by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for a lot of streams and many professional certifications for organizations.
